Man United 20 Pass Goal Sketch Art

My first football (soccer) clip I did not want to end up violating copyright laws. After reading about fair use, I came up with the below clip. Enjoy! For those who don't know: the clip is from footage of the pre-season Guinness International Champions Cup. Manchester United 3 - 1 Real Madrid. The clip is an illustration of the 20-pass-move that led to United's first goal. Everyone got a touch on the ball, except for De Gea (GK) and Juan Mata (CAM).

Genealogical tree of programming languages

So I was looking for an illustration of the history of programming languages so that I could help visualize it for my friends and family. Interestingly it took a while to find something exhaustive and "pretty". Here is what I ended up with (photos below). Looks like I have an idea for a new web app :) For the most exhaustive I found, you can thank wikipedia for this tree in svg format (too large to embedd!) INVEST in Good Stories and SMART Tasks

Below are some XP tips for the Agile world... The INVEST and SMART acronyms can remind teams of the good characteristics of stories and tasks. User stories are requirements, consider them composed of the triple C : C ards (their physical medium) C onversation (the discussion surrounding them) C onfirmation (tests that verify them). User stories act as a pidgin language , customers/users/programmers use it so that all sides can agree enough to work together effectively. A good story is an INVEST story: I ndependent They don't overlap in concept, and can be implemented in any order. Can't always achieve this; ex: "3 points for the first report, then 1 point for each of the others."
